Lead Pastor – Richard Curtis
Richard “Rick” grew up in Largo Florida after he moved from Ohio at the age of 10. Fresh out of Seminole High school he joined the United States Marine Corps. He is a combat vet of the Desert Shield/Desert Storm war.
He got out of the Marine Corps and ran away with the Circus where he became a circus Ringmaster and operations chief on most of the shows, he spent time on for 25yrs.Raised in a southern independent Pentecostal church as a young man, he went out into the world with a calling, and ran from the Lord. He avoided and made excuses pursuing everything else, not answering the call on his life. Just like the way in which God spoke to Elijah in 1 Kings 19:12, Rick while working heavy equipment listening to the Bible on his phone app, finally listen to the “still small voice” and answered the call to come into the ministry. Pastor Rick and his wife Kimberly, have three adult children Jordan 30 yrs., Harley 24 yrs.,Lincoln 20 yrs. Pastor Rick is also an integral part of our Praise and Worship music ministry.
Associate Pastor – Brian R. Brink
I would like to take a moment and introduce myself to you. I have been married to my beautiful wife Diana since 1990 and we have three grown adult kids, Jason, Jeremy, and Jenna. I received my calling into the ministry back in the year 2000 at a Walk to Emmaus weekend. We have served at two previous churches, Port Tampa United Methodist Church. I was there for 14 years, and just recently I was at First United Methodist Church of Seffner and served there for 3 years. We have really felt the Love of Christ since we arrived here at Sun City Christian Center, the first Sunday that I delivered God’s message to all of you we had a friend show up with her 14 year old son and he said wow what a loving church. I am here during the day in the office and would love to meet all of you. Please feel free to reach out and let’s sit down and get to know each other. God says to “Love one another” I really feel God’s love being present here at church, I hope and pray that all will have a blessed day and the rest of the week. Your Humble servant of Christ.
